Indigo eri silk and wool scarf


OUT OF STOCK Handwoven in the Kumaon Himalayas,by an ethical weaving collective specialising in natural dyes and sustainability, whilst using traditional techniques.
The yarn is batched dyed, spun and woven, to create a reverse weave, with contrasting colour of indigo and gold.The eri-silk has a characteristic slub which adds to the feel and appearance. It is soft and light to wear.

This handloom scarf is made from a blend of wool and eri silk also known as ahimsa silk. The production of ahimsa silk does not kill the moth. The reverse weave, gives two colour ways, in indigo and natural light gold shade.

Hand wash recommended with tiny amount of gentle non- bio laundry liquid.
